acefurnacefxr,
I cleaned out the condensate trap as you suggested and it definitely needed it. Thanks for that information.
Upon further inspection I noticed that water is pooling on the shelf below the inducer fan and motor. It seems to be coming from the condensing heat exchanger. The condensate trap seems to be working properly. This furnace is 15 years old. I can see now that there is no quick fix for this. Is the condensing heat exchanger toast? If so is it worth replacing it? Or could it be a failed seal? Any information would help.

You may need a new collector box, its the black rectangular box behind the inducer motor. Looks like a big job but in all reality I have changed them in less then an hour . also the 1/2 inch clear round tube that goes from the collector box down to the trap may also be plugged. also there is a smaller (3/8) black hose from the bottom of inducer housing that may also be plugged
