i have 2 units im looking at 1st is a Ducane 2 ton its cutting out on low pressure ive got a jumper in it to keep it going 2nd is a concorde doing the same thing the temp here gets in the mid 20s i called allied the maunufacturer he says deforst sensor is bad im schooled but still learning can anyone give me some advice

Some more info would be handy.
Are they defrosting, or is there ice built up on the coils?
If you jump out the defrost sensor, can you manually force them into a defrost with the test pins?
What are your pressures / temperatures?
Is the reversing valve shifting?
How does amperage of the compressor look, compared to what you'd expect to see?
