I have a Rheem central unit, about 20 years old. After heavy rains the heater stopped working. I replace the gas valve with a robertshaw retro w/ignited. Pilot lights up, burner comes on and goes out after 5 second constantly. Before with the old valve a White/Rogers I replace the Mercury flame sensor And did the same thing intermittent burn.
