There are a number of things to check before you go and change the module. Check that the air flapper is clean first and foremost. 90% of the time when you hit a pulse its going to be maintenance issues like the air flapper. I have never heard of that module deenergizing the ventor mid cycle. More likely its not igniting properly and runs rough for a little while then quits which would be a dirty flapper most times. It's a unique furnace to service to say the least but in my humble opinion it's still one of the best built furnaces out there.

my friend has a g21q3-60-1, it locks itself out and im not there to catch the problem. It has the white johnson control mod. Gas pressure, pressure switch, trap, flapper, flamesensor tested at 1.9 micro amp, i want to say its the module, i think it is deenergizing the purge motor. do you have the charts on the blinking codes?
