I am not sure what the old model was but the colors and wire went like this:

O-ORANGE
W2-WHITE
E-BLACK
G-GREEN
R-RED
Y-YELLOW
C(I THINK IT IS C, MAYBE B)-BLUE

The new has:
E
AUX
Y
G
O
L
R
B
C

Please help, I need to know what goes to what. I connect them using
E-black
Aux-white
Y-yellow
g-green
o-orange
L-empty
R-red
B-empty
C-blue

This does nothing. I have a pink and tan wire that haven't been used yet. Thanks

EC

You wired it correctly, you just forgot to remove power to your air handler first.

It should have a low voltage blade type automotive fuse in the air handler that you can replace. (probably 5 amp)

Be sure to turn off the breaker(s) to your air handler (not just the heat pump outside).
Electricians will label it furnace or AHU in the panel.

You might verify that stat blue = C at your air handler while you have the panel off.

There will be 2 sets of wires there. The set using a green wire is your stat. The other set is your outdoor unit.

What if I don't have a fuse? Could it be possible that I need to jump the E and Aux?

Jump R (power) and G (fan) to prove that you have low voltage power.

Aux and E are electric heat strip terminals. The fan should still work.

If you don't have a fuse protecting your transformer and you wired it without removing power to the air handler, you probably now need a transfomer.

I hope it's a fuse, 2 bucks a pack at Autozone.
