Have a early 80's Rheem heat pump. The fan on the air handler quit and doesn't have voltage at the fan motor. Is there a relay that controls the fan?

Is that 115v or 230v? Did you have the proper voltage between these two wires? Do you have 24v between G and C? With power off can you spin the wheel and will it continue to spin freely. Do you have a relay that looks like one of these?

On second thought given the age of your system you should put away the meter and get it replaced.
