I am changing out the (2) original Carrier Heatpump thermostats to Hunter model 44155C thermostats. Can you confirm the wiring connections to make on the new thermostats? The Carrier had these connections:
R = Red Wire
Y/Y2 = Yellow Wire
G = Green Wire
C = Blue Wire
W/W1 = White Wire

Thanks,

Mark Jeter

Heat pump thermostats would have an O terminal in use.
Since you did not post an O terminal this stat will support your standard system. (If you had an O in use , you would need a different stat.)
G = green
Rc & R = red
Y/O = yellow
W/B = white
tape off blue (common), if it shorts to any wire it can damage your transformer or fuse. Set SW5 to STD. Set SW6 to HG if you have gas heat , or HE if you have electric heat.

I recommend a Honeywell thermostat.
