I am trying to replace my current thermostat:
Trane BAYSTAT240A - 3AAT82B1B1
with a Trane XL802 (AKA Honeywell VisionPro)

I am unsure of what to use for the System Type Selection (0170). I have tried 7 as I think this is my arrangement - 2 heat/1 cool heat pump with Aux and Emergency heat.

Also, this tstat doesn't seem to have the Reversing Valve (O/B)
Operation (0190) option even when a heat pump is selected.

The system seems to work for cooling but not for heating. The wiring seems pretty straightforward so I think that is correct.

Thanks for any assistance.

The XL802 is the TH8320. It doesn't really need a 190 option if it is only used with Trane heatpumps. 170 does = 7.

OK, I will go back and re-connect the old T-stat to make sure that nothing else is buggered.

Thanks for the response.
