A friend of mine is selling a brand new still crated Carrier 25HBR 3 ton Cond, FK4D003 Variable Speed Air Handler and Edge 7 Day Programmable T-Stat, 8 KW Heat Strip for $1200 dollars. I am buying it for a 1600 sq. ft. weekend getaway place in South Carolina. Everything is crated and Boxed. He bought it for his place and decided he wanted to go with a 4 Ton. He says he paid twice that for it. Is this a good price?

Dang dood price.... almost too good. Might want to check the serial numbers with Carrier and make sure its not hot. What part of SC you putting it in?
