have a Heil dc80 , seems like every second time the furnace goes on the gas will not flow. Pilot light turns on every time , but only sometimes will the rest light up , sometimes it will flow 2 seconds then stop , sometimes until the fan starts then it will stop and sometimes it works normal. Needless to say when this happens in middle of night cools house down quickly with fan runnin and only pilot light lit. Any Ideas?

Get a Heil tech to check the unit properly. They are prone to heat exchangers cracking and or compression rivets popping. You may need a new pilot burner or have problems with the Honeywell Smartvalve which I believe it has.
