I can't seem to figure this sitation out and my HVAC guy has ran out of ideas.

The wired thermostat gives about 5-10 degrees colder than the actual temperature. The thermostat will not run on auto anymore, and the fan will blow ambient air only when turned on. The furnace has been checked and the sensors cleaned. The furnace will only blow hot air after the circuit breaker is tripped and then reset. It will blow for 5-10 minutes and stop until tripped again.
The building is old but insulated and sound. The thermostat is in a neutral area away from any windows, doors, or drafts.

No way it is thermostat problem. Furnace has something wrong.
I am no HVAC guy but you think about it, why do you have to reset
it over and over? It's cutting out every 5-10 minutes even before
room reaches set temperature? Be logical. Is your HVAC guy qualified tech? Hope he never shows up at my house when I have
problem, LOL!
