(Lennox under house 1yr old -red LED flashes slow steady/ Carrier unit outside)
PROBLEM: Heat appears to work fine - AC NOT working !
- Replaced shorted 24v wire (mouse chewed) from inside to outside unit still No AC. - Outside Carrier is getting 240vac - can push temporary contact and will turn unit on but nothing blows inside house. SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO REPAIR ??

Measure for 24 volts at the control wire entering your condenser. If not present with cooling demand, measure for 24 volts at Y and C at your furnace. If you have signal leaving your furnace but not your condenser, you prbably have a second cut.
A low voltage breaker or a fuse usually trips when the 2 wire to the condenser is damaged. The fan will run continuously on some makes when 24 volts is not present.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
