Running my A/C and it shutsoff and the display just has an "E" on it. No time, day, temp etc.
I replaced the batteries and still get the message. When you run just the air handler you don't get that message. Only when the heat pump kicks on.

The thermostat is a hunter and the heat pump is a trane.
