the other day it got warm in house my husband switch air conditioner on. after it turned reasonable in here, we turned off but the fan kept blowing cold air into the house. We cannot get it to stop. We had to trip our breaker inside the house. every time we turn breaker on unit starts back up any suggestions/

sounds like the contactor is welded shut.......you are dealing with very high voltages, i recomend leaving it up to the pros.......you can exspect to pay $200 to $350 for a quality repair.
