Here's my problem. We live in Orlando, FL and it's already hot here. Got up to 89 yesterday, and around noon, the outside unit turned on, but the blower wouldn't. Outside temp was about 84 or so by then. This has happened in the past, and seems to happen only when it's hot outside (though it has happened when it's about 60). Almost summer and I need to fix this before it's 95 outside. Also, we live in a mobile home so the blower is under the home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Edit - Didn't mention that the blower will kick on after messing with the controls for about 5 minutes, such as turning the unit on/off, turning the heater on, then the a/c back on, etc. Also, the old mercury thermostat that came with the house did the same thing...I put in a new digital and it didn't fix the problem. Thanks.

Sounds like you may have a bad blower relay or possibly a loose connection somewhere inside the indoor unit. Highly recommend having a tech check and diagnose the system.
