I have an Amana 90 furnace in my house that is only about 5-years old. It is maintained; in as much as I regularly change the fulters and clean inside the cabinet.
I just recently noticed that it would attempt to fire up and quit; doing this in a repeating pattern.
I shut down the power and restored it after waiting about a min. This time it fired up and I got a nice flame but it quit after 10-sec and then went back the the original pattern I first discovered.
I am feeling that the flame sensor is bad. I really need to replace this as I have asthma and can not handle the 66 deg nights!
I found a genuine replacement on-line that ships same day; does anyone with more experience than me have any comments?

Did you try cleaning the flame sensor?
