I was wondering where I could get the information to figure out hrat gain / heat loss of a building as to figure out the correct size of the HVAC equipment. Is there a web site or a CD you can get.

In the Trade for a long long time !
Things a bit different than before !
Refrigeration still doesn't have a "d" in it does it ?

prob,

This is the best way but it is really complicated. You would have to buy the Abridged Manual J book. ($59.00)

http://www.acca.org/design/

Download the Speed-Sheets, spreadsheet programs that can be used in conjunction with Manual J-8 Abridged Edition (for residential load calculation) or Manual N 5th Edition (for light commercial load calculation).
