Have a Goodman 2.5 ton heat pump that was left set on Em Heat mode one full day (turned it on to heat the house one morning and forgot to shut system off before leaving). When I returned home in the evening system was off and furnace breaker was tripped. Reset the breaker but system will not start. Nothing indicates the system is trying to start up (fan will not run at all).
After turning off power to system I pulled the cover off the A32-10 furnace unit and didn't see anything obvious nor did I see any kind of reset switch on the fan motor. Also pulled cover on condenser but everything looks OK (i.e., no obvious cooked parts).
Any thoughts on what might be the problem or where to start diagnosing the problem?

1st check and make sure you have 230V coming into the indoor unit. Then check to see if you have 24V between the red and blue low voltage wires in the indoor unit. If you have 230V and don't have 24V between the two wires, you have a blown transformer.
