i have a intertherm furnace and it will not shut off and it wont ignite the gas.i just bought a house and the unit looks new,has a new thermostat. we had some power outage the other day where the elect. would come on and then go back out,and it done that for like 10 min. did it fry my furnace? dont know why it wont shut off, there is a light switch that turns power on and off to the furnace, and now that is the only way to turn it off. when i turn it on i hear a click and the red light on the board starts flashing.the red led has a steady flash.it worked great before the electric went off and on and off and on and so on.and the loud click seems to be comming from the board. all the fans are blowing but it will not even start to heat the igniter.

On one of the pannels there should be a sticker that will tell you how to read the flashing red light. Once you get what the red light is saying it will help direct you to the solution.

the flash is steady,it just keeps flashing over and over.there is no count to the flashes,it is steady non stop.the unit will not shut off at all unless i turn the switch off. a/c or heat.
would a one count seem like a continuous count?
and when i turn the a/c off at the thermostat it will shut off the outside unit but the inside unit stays running, the thermostat will not turn off or on the inside unit at all.
