I have a leak in my Carrier AC evaporator coil. It is under warranty, but I still have to pay for labor. I got a quote for $450 labor, plus $154 for freon fill (it is practically empty now). My model number is: CE3AXA03600ABAA.

Does this quote seem reasonable?

Hang in there, one of our techs is from Houston and will be by later. Sounds reasonable to me. At approx $100 hr/ labor that is 4.5 hrs, similar to what my co. charges. Takes up to 4 hrs depending on sheet metal etc etc.

It is a good price. We charge more than that, unless it is less than a year old or you have a ten year parts and labor warranty.
