I have an old Lennox thermostat with the following wires:

R - Yellow
V - Blue
F - Green
M - Red
Y - Red

I am trying to install a new Rite Temp with the following:

C, B, O, W2, W, Y, Y2, RH, RC, G, A

Can anyone tell me how to translate the old to the new????

Thanks in advance for any help I can get

Jen

Since you have 2 red wires, mark one of them black (Y) with a marker to avoid confusion.
Old = New
R = O (Reversing valve) yellow
V = Rc & RH (24 Volt) blue
F = G (Fan) green
M = Y (compressor Motor) red
Y = W2 (Ymergency heat ;) red painted black
Common would have been X, I hope it is optional with your new stat.

You did not post your new model number. You will probably need to jumper W to Y as the Ritetemp 8085 diagram displays...
