I recetly bought a ritetemp 8082C thermostat to replace an old Seco ta2000. The SECO hass the following connections
X=black 2=white o=#FFFAF0 b=Blue r=red y=tan g=green e=white jumper to 2
I connected it to the ritetemp 8082c following the instructions in the manual assuimng that 2=W2, and leaving the black(x) and blue(b) taped up and disconnected. Heat and cool both work properly, but now the blower does not turn off. I can remove the face of the thermostat, and completly disconnect the green wire, and the blower still does not turn off. The blower works properly when I re-install the old thermostat, so It must be a wiring issue.
These are the instructions I followed:

This is the wiring schematic from inside the blower:

I'm assuming that I need to do something with the blue(b) wire as it does run to the blower relay, but I have no idea which terminal it should connect to..
Any help you can provide will be appreciated.
Chris

Thanks for the wiring diagram, but looking at the Seco diagram , it appear I need to use both the (B) and the (O), but the instructions with the new thermostat specifically tell me not to use both. The Seco diagram also shows that the (X) is should be the common wire and must be connected to the transformer, but I've traced the wires to the blower in the attic and the black wire is run straight to the compressor wiring that goes outside, it has no connection to the transformer whatsoever..
I spent a good amount of time on the phone with the Rite temp tech support today, and didn't get any closer to figuring this out. Even the Rite temp engineer couldn't make any sense of it. But we did find out that the blower will turn on if (O) or (Y) is connected the (R), even with no connection to the (G)-but it still does not turn off when you break the connection.
I'm at a loss and about to just live with the old thermostat...

The diagram only shows the function of O and B, it does not state that both are to be used. It is likely that your original installer wired both by mistake. What color wire did you see connected to your C (common) terminal at the fancoil?
Most heat pumps use the O terminal for the reversing valve. Rheem and Rud use the B terminal for the reversing valve. What brand is your outdoor unit?
Post a picture of the wiring at your fancoil and heatpump control wire connections for greater assistance.

The outdoor unit is a York.
in the first picture below the brown bundle on the left runs to the thermostat and the bundle or the right runs to the outdoor unit..
