OK. I have a Tempstar 2000 Comfort Cool Condenser unit. The fan motor's bearing went out. I found out that emerson doesn't make the exact model anymore. I did an part# exchange lookup and ended up ordering a motor. Well the motor that I received was a single-speed motor, while the old one was a 2spd. Connected wire for wire, obviously the fan doesn't run when cold and only turns on after 15-20 seconds. Would it hurt the fan controller if I jump the controllers high and low terminal together to the motors power to run the fan motor when controller chooses low and high?
