Today my inside the home AC Blower Fan stopped working.
The outside Compressor and fan is still working but not the Blower Fan in my home.

Could an internal "fuse / circuit breaker" be the problem ???
Why would the outside Compressor continue to run when the home Blower Fan is not working ???

Outside AC Unit is - Allegiance 12 American Standard Air Conditioner.
Inside garage AC Blower Fan is mounted on American Standard Freedom 80 Comfort R Furnace.

Control voltage, capacitor, circuit board or a motor problem.

Probably the cap.

Do you have line voltage to the motor with demand from your stat?

Does the squirrel cage spin freely when power is removed?

Some answers to your questions:

Yes, the squirrel cage does turn freely.
Yes, there is 122 VAC to Blower motor connector pin AT ALL TIME.
[Other pin on motor connector "CIRC" may be missing proper voltage ???]
Yes, stat display says "cool" and condenser comes on.

I do not know how to troubleshoot "CIRC" ???
I have no idea where to find the "capacitor" you referred to ???

How can I further diagnose my No Blower problem ???

Please note:
Inside home thermostat - When I move the "Fan" switch from "Auto" to "On" I can hear a quiet "click" coming from the Furnace / AC unit in the garage.

The capacitor is usually strapped to the blower housing.

Post your gas furnace make and model.

Thank you very much for the reply.

I called a repairman ,,, not worth fooling around with a deadly killer ,,, ARIZONA HEAT !!!

You were right, a wafer capacitor, about the size of a nickel, found inside the controller which is mounted on the rear of the motor, was FRIED !!!

Replacement Part on order !!!
