Heat ran fine all winter. Switched to A/C after not using for about a month and the fuse in the air handler blows. I've checked wires at the thermostat and air handler and all are good. Any ideas? Bad thermostat or transformer? The a/c never starts before it blows.

Check the low voltage wires to your outdoor unit for damage. (Sun, Weed Eater, Dog, Rodent damage)
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
