Help! My fan won't start up unless I nudge it. Can these motors be lubricated?. And with what and how? If not is it most likely the motor going bad or a cap problem?

Match microfarad and voltage.
5MFD 370 volt example...
A capacitor can hold a charge for a few minutes after removing power. Remove power wait at least 90 seconds and short across the terminals.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
