Hello any one that can help.
I live in apartment on the third floor (top floor) in Atlanta. We have had many problems with our AC and I was wondering if any of you can help. We have an indoor digital thermometer and it reads 85 degrees constantly. Our AC unit runs constantly and never seems to cool down our place. A service guy for the apartment complex came to replace a part on the furnace. I do not know what the part is called but it had coils on the top. Well the part he put in was larger then the last one and he seems to have rigged it so it would work. Well cold air blows out of it now because he used some sort of tape to cover up where the part went. Could this be why our place never gets cool. Our power bill was really high. I have pictures if my description was not very good. I really have no idea what I am talking about. Thanks for any help. I just do not want to get screwed by the apartment management.
