i have a ct-03ts it has been losing memory set if you set temp to 74 and when it reaches 74 unit sets to 80 it dose this when it is in heat or cool mod

Is it programmed? Does the space cool to setpoint before returning to the 80 degree setpoint?
I see this all the time. It is usually the homeowner making a temporary temperature adjustment, thinking that it is a non-programmable stat. After the stat reaches the next time period (Wake , Leave, Return, Sleep) it resorts to program.
