I bought a Totaline P464-1050 and connected it to a Climate Master Heat Pump.
G to G
Y1 to Y1
R to R
W1 to O/W1
and I connected the provide resistor between W1 and C on the heat pump.
I also switched Heat Pump to ON in step 3 of the advanced setup.
The A/C turns on but the display still goes blank and the A/C stays on until I turn the power off from the fuse panel.
Is there something I did wrong? Please advise.

Do you have more conductors coming out of the wall?
Power stealing stats are unreliable. If you do not have at least 5 conductors available, I recommend a Honeywell RTH7400.
It can use batteries if common is not available.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.

I finally found another conductor out the wall. I connected it to C on the stat and to C on the heat pump. And I removed the resistor.
That works.
