Old compresser fan motor on an old comfortmaker a/c burned up. It looks like the wires fell from theri secure spot and tripped the fan so it burned up. Since the comfortmaker was so old I could not find an exact part. Still got 825 rpm but changed from 1/10 horsepower to 1/6. I bought an additional capacitor that the sales person assured me I needed. However there are four wires in the new motor and only three on the old. Anyone know how to hook this up? I don't want to fry anything.
