I have a new Amana 2 ton 14 seer r410 heatpump with new inside coil.The temp here today 93F,humidity 28%.when set thermstat above 77F unit seems correct,outside compressor cycles.when setting at 74F the inside temp will only come down to 77F.that temp is by the thermstat and a Fluke meter.The compressor ran for over 3 hrs. without cycling.called my installer and was told a temp drop of 15 to 20 deg below outside was normal.Where I keep the sitting there is no problem but I would like to know the system is working correct.
