I am here because: We called the repair people. Last November we got a brand new outside unit. When there was no cool air last month, we called the same people, and they said it was a bad coil. That was replaced. The air was cool, but temperature was rising inside during the day, up to 83, with thermostat set at 76. It does get it to that temp at night, and does shut off then. During the day it works continuously, but doesn't seem to keep up with demand. It did keep up last year before the old sysytem died. They came back. Installed a new computer. Came again, with an HVAC engineer. Installed a new new coil. Came back again. Installed a larger coil. They installed a thermo-expansion control valve. They have checked refrigerant levels, pressure, thermostat, blower motor, etc. The air is coming out of the vents. It is cool, but not cold- about 73 degrees. It also does not seem to be blowing very strong. They said they have no clue as to why it is not cooling the house. Same size unit as last one, same vents, same everything, only NEW and more efficient? HELP?

You need to get a new HVAC contractor in there. If they checked all of that and you are still getting so so cool air from the vents, something doesn't sound right. almost sounds like there's a blockage in there. Also, make sure nothing created a home in your outside unit and chewed up some wires.
