Hello guys , Ive got a Trane 1100 System, my problem is the outside unit. Where the condenser is located. My fan i guess it would be trane air conditioner condensing unit fan. The fan locked up, i had an identical unit under my house to use for parts. So i just exchanged the fan units with my parts unit and it runs fine now. But runs in the oppiste direction. It draws air in insted of blowing air into my face. What could be my problem. And could that hurt my system. I replace the wires exactly as i removed them. Puzzled

They really all have ant? Are you sure it isn't lizards or mice, or a bad capacitor? I have not seen many problems caused by ants.

That doesn't sound so identical to me. Is that motor the same horsepower and RPM as the original? If so you may be able to get new fan blades that are made to spin the opposite way. Good luck!
