I am replacing the thermostat at my mother-in-laws. She has a carrier one now. I am replacing it with a hunter touch screen, my problem is when I looked at the wires I know what all of them are except for one goes to a label S1 and another goes to DHUM and I have no clue what those are and where they go on the new one. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

S1 and S2 are for outdoor temperature display. Dehum is for improved humidity control It may be necessary to locate and replace a jumper on the circuit board if you wish to replace the stat. (Basically jumpering R to Dehum)

Color codes will vary.
