Sorry for sounding like a broken record but I could not find a diagram online anywhere for my old Tstat. I am trying to replace my Trane Baystat239A thermostat with a Honeywell RTH3100c. I wired according to directions given over the phone from Honeywell support, but when it says "Cool on" for the a/c, the only thing working is the fan. I checked my compressor after calling C-support a second time and that works. I hooked the old Tstat back up and it works right also. So is my wiring for new Tstat wrong.
Wiring per Phone support
"OLD" "NEW"
Y = Y
T = Tape Off
R = R
W = AUX
X2 = E
O = O
B = C
G = G
There is a saudered jumper between "W" and "U" on my old Tstat but the terminal for "U" was empty
Heat pump is a Trane XE1100
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks So Much
Emily

You have wired it correctly. That stat does not require configuration.
Return your faulty stat.
You can get another rth3100 or upgrade to the rth7400. (the rth7400 would take orange to O/B , option 170=7, 190=0, 240=9)

Wire the new rth3100 as you have wired this one.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
