Hi all,
A quick question regarding the wiring on my tstat.
My existing tstat is wired as follows
out of the wall are three lines
line 1 is R,Y,G
line 2 is R,W
line 3 is R,W
The tstat wiring is as follows
line 2 and 3 (W) to W on tstat
line 1 Y to (Y) on tstat
line 1 G to (G) on tstat
lines 1 & 2 R to (Rc) on tstat
line 3 R to (R) on tstat
New tstat has G W C Y R Rc
We have central air and hot water baseboard heat.
Should I just wire my new tstat(FocusPro 6110) the same way
Thanks again!
Eric

Thanks Houston!
I posted earlier that my air handler would not shut off and has to be turned off at the CB. Yuri suggested a tstat which I needed to replace anyway. Got that done but the blower still does not want to shut off. I have a Post Purge Fan Delay ICM253 to replace the existing. Should I try this as the next step? My only question regarding this is the wiring.
The existing Fan relay has spades numbered 1,2,3 and 5 The replacement has spades numbered 1,2,3 and 4
Much Thanks!
Eric

1 = G (to fan relay) 2 = R (power) 3 = C (common) 4 = G (Stat fan signal) Where does your 5th wire currently connect?
Are you sure it isn't a 251?

You have 2 wires connected terminal #2. Looks like your old #5 is your new #4. Both relays only have 4 terminals. You have the correct relay.

Hey Houston
Thanks for the info! BTW here is a picture of the existing relay. I'm not sure how to link a pic directly to my post.
Thanks again!

The ICM 253 is the correct replacement. Measure the length of time your old relay takes to turn off the fan after signal is removed and set your dial accordingly.
1 = G (to fan relay) tan w/insulated connector 2 = R (power) Red and yellow piggybacked wires 3 = C (common) blue wire 4 = G (Stat fan signal) unisulated tan wire
Be sure to remove power before your work.

Thanks again Houston for the info!
Yea, my problem is that the AH just runs continuously without shuting off so I am not sure how long to set the relay for. My guess would be at 120 sec or a couple minutes?
Thanks again!
