i am working on a goodman package aircond. the woman says that the ac will come on and run until it reaches the desired temprature then it shuts off and wont start back until she manualy turns the thermostat switch to the off position and then back on and it will start.i thought it was the t-stat i changed it and she says it is still doing the same thing. any thoughts?

Sounds like it to me. Turn main power off and cycle the thing 20-30 times. It should stick once.
