I had an old comfortmaker thermostat and putting in a hunter digital dispay thermostat. The digital thermostat has labels for G, W, Y, RC and RH. My old setup has 6 wires. I have matched the G, W, and Y. but now I have and orange, red and blue wire that I cant seem to get right. Blue originally was connected to C, Red was connected to R and orange to O.

O energizes the reversing valve on heat pumps for cooling.
Standard systems do not use O.

Post the make and model of your outdoor unit for verification. (Or Google it)
