Got home last night and my t-stat(no battery) had no power. Checked everything I saw that on this form and the 5amp fuse was blow inside the air-handler. Replaced the fuse and turned the breaker on and the fuse blew. Rechecked all the connections inside the air-handler. Checked outside unit for a fuse(none), made sure all wires were connected and tight seemed fine. Replaced fuse and flipped breaker everything worked fine. As I'm putting the access door back on the outside unit the fuse in the air-handler blew. Screwed the screw on wire connections down on the low voltage side( the only thing I touched putting the door back on). Replaced fuse and everything is working for now But it has only been an hour. What do I need to do if it has blown the fuse when I check it at Lunch.

Inspect the low voltage wires to your outdoor unit for damage. If a cut is present, separate and insulate your wires. (With electric tape)
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
