I just recently had 2 Lennox XP-19 heatpumps installed at my home. All the literature I read says that peak performance is obtained from these units when the Lennox Comfortsense 7000 thermostats are used. My installer used Honeywell 8000 thermostats.
I have a friend who installs Lennox systems and he says that the Honeywell 8000 will not operate the XP-19 at peak performance. One of the functions he says it will not do is control humidity.
What is the opinion of this board? Will the Honeywell 8000 operate the system as efficiently as the Lennox 7000? Does the Honeywell 8000 control humidity and all of the other features the Lennox 7000 does?

The Honeywell Visionpro does not have a humidify or a dehumidify terminal. It is unlikey that it will control the humidity of your system as well as the Lennox stat mentioned.
I would provide better documentation but I cannot get the installation manual from Lennox's site.
