Carrier 38CKC042 Air Conditioner alarms with a high pitch for 60 secs when the fan comes on. Everything else seems to be fine. It cools very well. Could anyone tell me what this high pitch alarm could be?

Sincerely Sonja

That unit does not have an alarm. The only factory part that can make a sound that resembles an alarm is the fan motor bearings, when worn out.

If you live in a rough neighborhood and the builder installed an alarm to prevent theft of your unit, consult the alarm documentation or your builder.
