So it finally got hot enough in Colorado to turn on my AC. Switched to auto/cool like always. The compressor outside fired on, but the blower won't come on the move the air. When I switch the unit back over to heat/auto, the burner and the blower both come on fine. Switch back to AC and no movement on the blower.
I thought I had a bad thermostat and wanted to upgrade to programmable anyways, so went to Home Depot and put in new tstat. It made no difference. Can someone help me out why the blower is working in heat but not in AC.

The fan relay which turns on the fan is probably shot. May be an integral part of a circuit board (need new board) or a standalone relay.

Take the doors off the front of the furnace/air handler where the wiring is and take some pics of it. Post them at photobucket. Copy the IMG code and paste it here. Post the model and serial # of the outdoor unit and the furnace/air handler here. Need more info about the unit and to see it.
