I broke a screw on the mounting bracket for my expansion valve bulb. I replaced it with a brass screw. I'm not sure if the mounting bracket and original nut would be brass or copper. I re-used the original nut with the new screw. If they are copper, would there be a corrosive effect with the brass screw I put in, or is brass and copper ok together? Thanks for any input.

Not to worry, brass and copper are okay together. Usually the bracket is copper and the bolt and screw are brass (more durable/stronger)
