and the D1 red LED on the logic board flashes continuously. I have 2 other similar units in my building, one of which barely gets used, so I'm going to switch the logic boards and see if that fixes it. Any reasons why I shouldn't? I'm asking because I don't know what the red LED flashing continously means. fan will not turn on by itself, but i hear the compressor starting up on the roof.
ideas?
Thanks

don't do it....the red led shold flash every second at a steady rate that means there is a call for cooling. is this the out door fan? I would think it was the capacitor bad first, the motor bad second, and the relay on the board last. good luck. if it is the indoor fan let us know.
Be good to your fellow man not nice there is a difference.

I switched the logic board for the one from my other XE90, and it too was flashing. but i put the door back on, and then turned the fan only on to check...and it worked immediately. unit seems fully operational again. tomorrow i will put the removed logic board into my other XE90 and I will report what happens.
