I have a 2000 sq foot manufactured home. I received a quote for a Carrier Performance series 15, 25HPA536H003 with a Carrier #FV4BNF003 variable speed air handler for $9,735.00 + tax, and $11,071.00 for an Infinity Series 16 + the air handler. My house (all electric) already has the ductwork and a Colemann furnace especially made for manufactured homes. Are both these prices reasonable? In my area west of Seattle on the Kitsap pennisula I am at 800 feet and I can get temperatures that average 40 degrees F in the winter. At times in the summer I can have temperatures in the high 80's - low 90's for up to 3 weeks. What is the most efficient, but most reasonable heat pump for my house. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks. Washington Resident.

looks good to me. Thank you to all of the sever Green people out there for demanding efficiency like this and thus jaking the price up. I am assuming R-410-A the new safer more expensive refrigerant. It must be 13 seer minimum and it should be 410-A to save on future repairs. lower your seer to 13 or 14 and kiss the barly stone.
Be good to your fellow man not nice there is a difference.

The Infinity system has a very impressive communication ability. It has no equal in my opinion.
"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
