Hi All,
I have purchased a Ritetemp 8085c thermostat to replace a Weathertron thermostat handling a Trane heatpump and furnace with emergency heat. Unfortunately the Ritetemp document is not detailed enough to account to all the wires that are connected to the old Weathertron thermostat.
So which wires go to which:
Weathertron BAYSTAT240A (old):
Red wire = R
Brown wire = T
Orange wire = O
Green wire = G
Yellow wire = Y
Black wire = X2
Blue wire = B
White wire = W
Now where should these wires connect to on the 8085C?
Ritetemp 8085C
C =
H =
W2 =
RC =
O =
B =
RH =
W =
Y =
G =
A =

C = blue
W2 = white & Black
Rc & Rh = red
O = orange
W & Y = yellow
G = green
tape off brown
behind the stat...
jumper ELECT
select PUMP
I don't think much of that stat. Honeywell, White Rodgers and Robertshaw are the brands that the pro's use.
