I have a carrier 3 ton AC unit. The compressor and condensor fan keeps shutting down after about 20 minutes of run time. Blowing cool up to that point. I had a service ( friend ) check it out with gauges and it starts out at proper readings so he says 110 high side and 45 low side about 80 degrees outside R-22 Freon then over a 15 minute period it slowly rises to 130 high side and 50 low side. Then in the next two minutes or so quickly rises until the high pressure switch or limit switch shuts it down.. What coud be my problem???

I don't know what everyone says appears normal.....but, those pressures do NOT seem normal to me. I would suggest you have a reputable servicer look at the system and determine why the pressure switch is tripping out.
