I recently had my Carrier Unit fixed, replacing both capacitor and a compressor. It worked great for about a week and then I woke up to a house that was 85 degrees. I turned the system off for a couple of hours and then turned back on and it worked ok. That was 2 weeks ago. Today I get home from the store, same story. House is 85 degrees and air is coming out of the vent at 89.1 degrees. It's 111 degrees here today and I would really like to know why this would happen? Thanks!!!

I don't see any ice anywhere on or around the unit or coil and the filters were changed out a couple of weeks ago.

no sir, none whatsoever. I turned it off for over 2 hours now and tried to turn it back on and it is still blowing hot air.
