For about an hour each day at around 12 to 1:00, in the hottest time of day, my Lennox Heat Pump stops cooling. The fan continues to run, but the temperature quickly rises in the house from 70 to 75 in about 10 minutes. After about 30-45 minutes, the system starts cooling again. The system is still under warranty, but I had to have a new compressor in January, and I've had to call my service man for a bad thermostat which was replaced. After the last $79 service call about the latest problem which was not corrected, I am concerned. Any suggestions.

This can be a low charge system problem with the compressor over heating, an overcharge problem with a high safty tripping it out in the hottest part of the day, or a digital thermostat glitch with a max run time being exceeded. Really it seems like a harder than normal to find problem, ask them to send out the "best tech" not the trainee.
