My 10 year old Bryant 350MAV blower fan will not come on. Is there a way to manually kick the blower on to determine if it's bad? Any suggestions?

Does the motor spin freely when power is removed?
Is the motor hot to the touch?

It may only be a capacitor. Match your voltage and microfarad.
A 5 mfd 370 volt example. (yours will probably be 7.5mfd or 10 mfd)

The cap is usually strapped to the blower...

Capacitors will hold a charge for 2 to 3 minutes after removing power so wait at least that long before touching it.

"Tip of the Day" Remember to remove power first.
